hellloo people...
there goes another week...
ok..maybe just 5 days..but still..
that means another week till exams~!~!
sei lo..
i havent sit down and study properly..
and i cant understand a thing in chemistry for the electrolysis thing...
which ions to choose and stuff..how to choose the ions???
really can die la....
i dont get what mdm is teaching leh..she had to rush to finish the syllabus..
anddddd next tues we are having the ICAS paper...
that means burn another chemi period....
can anyone teach me....pls...i dont want to re sit..
so at least 30%will do..xP

back to what happened throughout the week..
we had monitor's installation on monday..
did food test for bio on tuesday...
and concert practise started on wednesday~!~! joy....
that means shorter time for double physics....=D
anndddddd.....
on thursday...
4C did the most cruel thing ever on earth~!~!
we disected a poor pooor small quite cute looking white RAT~!~!
for bio...
its seriously damn sad...
at first i thought it will be fun and cool and stuff like that..
but when u see mdm try to make the rat faint...
wah..i shall elaborate on this..
she told shammer to buy only white rat..
cos its more clean..
so in the morning shammer came with 2 in a plastic container..
one all white..the other has some black spots..
both of them were so smalll....smaller than our palm..
ok..so bio were first double period..before that..i took zyui and a few others
to see the rats in my class...
then we go to the lab as usual..mdm took the rat in the container and put it in
the basin..
and we realised shammer only gave mdm the all white and he kept another one in
his paper bag..=0
so la la la...we studied about the human digestive system..
then few minutes before class over..mdm took some chlorofoam on a cotton wool..
and covered it on the rat's nose..but...the rat was struggling...trying to climb out
of the container..and we realised mdm was scared of it too...
so she got shammer to hold the rat..and mdm had to force the rat to smell the chlorofoam..
and yea..it pengsan a bit...it wasnt fully unconscious..cos when we put it in the tray..
the rat still can move..=/
then it was time to cut..and mdm only used forceps and
something like scissors...
wahh..i tell u..it was so difficult to look at it..1st mdm took some fur up..and start cutting upwards..then most of us were shouting already..and the 2nd time she cut..
i can see the internal organs already!!!!!!
i was hiding behind shi khai when mdm was cutting..tooooo cruel to look i tell u..
then mdm was explaining..we can see the diaphragm and liver...everything except the
kidneys..then some of them requested to look at the heart..
so mdm had to cut open the rib cage!!!
then she let us put on gloves and look at it..

anddd..our beloved monitor..took the forceps..and started playing with
the intestines....and we even cut the rat all the way down...
then mdm masni came in and she touched the rat without wearing gloves...
yerr...then we went back to class...
couldnt believe what we just did..
horrible la..really...
but if we dont disect..we dont learn...haih...=/
i still have the image of the rat...exposed on the tray...in my head...:/
and we still have frogs and fishes to disect in the chapters to come..
i think fishes are ok..cos i always see my mum cutting them and chopping them
and they dont have the same internal organs like humans!

okay..
such a long account on the disection..
so to other classes out there..
jackie said mdm masni is going to make a rat to each table..
so jahat rite..
lucky ms teng stick to her idea of cutting it herself..and showing it to us only..

back what happened today..
khye ern just came back to school today..
so he missed most of the things...
but lucky we still had another rat..so we showed it to him..
and the "smart" him go play with it the whole day..trying to scare elora and
some other people..
oh yea..and he threatened to train the rat to come and bite me..
and note..he sits behind me!
haha he kissed the rat and eric ate the rat biscuits shammer brought accidentally..
cos the tupperware was on qing wei's table..so he opened it and ate it..
and didnt believe it was for the rat..cos he said it tasted good...8P

then we had clubs and societies today as usual..
no concert practice on fridays...
then i had to rush to the dentist's to tighten my braces...
wahh painful...
and i had 2 lower braces cemented to my molars...
so i can only have the whole lower braces during the coming hols..

going to sleepover in church tomorrow for mother's day
practice...
hehe...just a reminder that mother's day is this sunday~!~!~
so do something for ur mommy k..
i bet she'll be happy if u just wish her..
cos thats what i'll do..besides singing in the choir in church for her..
=P

ok la..

this post is soo long..
hehe sorry..but i just want to remember how we disected the rat...
cos we can only see it in form4..so next time i can look at this post again..
